How do I pay for my vacation?
Once you’ve found the place you want to book, pay online to be covered by Payment Protection. You can pay by credit/debit card or PayPal.
Send a booking request
To see the rate for your vacation, simply select your desired dates and the number of people traveling. If you’re happy with the quote, click Book now and you will be directed to the booking request page. You’ll need to add your contact and payment details before submitting the request.
Please note: No money will leave your account until the owner/property manager accepts, but the requested amount will be placed on hold by your bank. The owner has 24 hours to accept or reject your booking request. If they accept, the on hold payment will be taken from your account.
If the booking request is rejected or expires, the payment will be released back to your account within 10 working days. It’s very rare for owners to decline a booking, but either way we’ll email you to let you know.
If you want to ask questions before booking
Send an email to the owner using the inquiry form Contact the owner. The owner should respond within 24 hours. To book the property, simply accept the quote they send you and pay online. We’ll confirm everything via email.
If there’s no Book online button
This means the owner doesn’t offer online booking. They may still be able to offer a secure form of payment, but you won’t be covered by Payment Protection. You’ll need to contact them directly to book using the contact form.
The owner may ask you to pay by bank transfer or cheque when you arrive. We advise against transferring money via Western Union or MoneyGram as these methods are not traceable.
